Steven Borgerhoff worked at a radio station and was looking for a publisher for his book Heroes, about the musical heroes of Belgian artists. Kristof Lamberigts was working in the publishing world. Both believed that book publishing could be done differently - and better. And so they started their own publishing house, Borgerhoff&Lamberigts. At the kitchen table. Hopeful, ambitious, and against all odds. It had been decades since a new publisher had emerged in Flanders. Their plan was, indeed, bold.

Today, Borgerhoff & Lamberigts publishes a wide range of books for adults and children. They consistently succeed in bringing bestsellers to the market.
